We assume responsibility for design and for monitoring project costs and schedule. The owner signs one contract and deals solely with Ed Brunet and Associates. Design-build encourages a strong partnership and project success, since all members of the team work together from the beginning. This approach also minimizes the risk of legal action from omissions and errors in the plans, because the contractor is responsible for the design phase. Finally, this approach is also helpful for scheduling, because work can begin before the plans are completed.
